When I tried to ring back, it seemed like the number didn’t exist.

Had a bloke with an Indian accent ring me earlier today, going by the name of Max. He was chattering away about some deal on a mobile phone contract, boasting a whopping 30% off as part of a promotional offer. Didn’t take long for me to send him packing-blocked his number right away!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a mobile provider, offering some kind of deal. Thought I was a muppet when I told him I’m registered with the TPS and want no calls. Then he asks if I’m "the owner of the UK" - I wish! Told him no, but that I know my rights about cold calls. After that, he started swearing at me. I told him multiple times how disgraceful it is to scam people during a cost of living crisis. He didn’t take that well and just ended the call. Proper scammer, thinking the world owes him something. Blocked and reported straight away.

I got a call from someone speaking with a Chinese accent asking for me. Didn’t know the number at all so thought it was probably a scam.

Sounds like it was just a spammer. They hung up as soon as my voicemail picked up.
