3 yearsAVOID ANSWERING THIS CALL AT ALL COSTS! I got multiple calls in quick succession from 02080798064, about 5 calls in just a few minutes. The guy claimed to be from O2 saying I’ve been with them for years - which is rubbish as I only switched when Virgin merged with O2. He wasn’t trying to sell anything but said I could get a 40% discount to keep customers from leaving because of poor service. Then he said he’d sent me two texts and asked for the code from the second one. The first message warned "SCAM ALERT DON'T GIVE CODES TO ANYONE," but the second had the actual code. I told him straight away “Do you take me for a fool? I’ve seen this scam on TV!” I refused and told him to stop trying to steal from people. After that, I blocked the number. Don’t ever give out those codes, especially to numbers like the one I mentioned!
