Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, but it was clearly a spam call. Honestly, if O2 does get in touch, it’s normally by text or email, not a random call. Plus, when they do contact you, the number shows up as 02 on your phone, just like when they send messages. So, be wary of calls that don’t look like that!

This bloke claimed he was calling from O2 and that I could get half off my monthly charges. Then he sent me a couple of texts, supposedly from O2, including a PIN to get into my account. I wasn’t falling for it though and told him straight up I knew he was trying to con me, and to piss off - and I wasn’t exactly polite about it either.
