Some bloke called John said he was from People's Choice, trying to sell some cash saving offers. He reckoned it'd only take a minute, so I actually timed him on my phone. Half the time was just him getting my info and asking a few questions. When I mentioned I was retired, he then asked how old I was, starting with 'over 40'!? What a muppet. His supposed 60 seconds ran out before I could say more. I rang back a couple of mins later but just got his answerphone.

Got a call from someone with an Indian or Asian accent, lots of noise like a busy call centre in the background. They kept pressing me to confirm my name, but when I asked who they actually were, they just cut me off and ended the call. No idea who they were!
