I checked out Repair and Assure since Mr Harrison claimed he was from there. I managed to speak with someone, asked why they called me, but he had no clue and just kept asking for my name, address, and phone number. They were dodging the questions the whole time. This company sounds like a total scam to me. They really oughta be reported to some serious authority because this kind of behaviour could easily trick older or vulnerable folks. It’s honestly disgusting.

They've rang me a couple of times today, even though I explained my insurance ended 15 years ago (seems like they've got some outdated list) and that I don’t even own a washing machine anymore (my daughter sorts that stuff out). Still, they keep pushing insurance on me, but when the machine breaks down, they'll probably find excuses not to cover it. Don’t trust these lot at all. Like most insurance firms, they’ll end up short-changing you.

I just told them no thanks and hung up straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam. I’ve had that washing machine for nearly nine years and never bothered with renewing any insurance.
Real companies usually send letters or emails well before the cover finishes, not call out of the blue like that.

When they asked the brand, I said "Huntley and Palmer, you know, the biscuit people." Then when they asked how I’d pay, I said “Cash,” coz I don’t use cards. Got a call saying my washing machine's warranty was about to run out, and they were offering to extend it with 35% off. They claimed I had no coverage since the machine was quite old. I corrected them, saying I actually had a five-year warranty. When I asked who they were, they mumbled something about being from a repair company and that my info was shared by the washing machine manufacturers. I just ended the call - definitely felt like another scam.

I HAVE A CALL BLOCKER, BUT HE MANAGED TO GET THROUGH JUST BY SAYING HIS NAME. He called about some warranty issue with my Beko washing machine. He even got my address wrong. When I asked where he got my info from, he said it was from his database. I DON'T EVEN HAVE A BEKO WASHING MACHINE!

Keep getting calls from some place in Derry, called Repair and Assure. They tell me my washing machine warranty has run out, trying to sell me something. I told them my washer is over 6 years old and warranty is only for 3 years anyway. Plus, it’s not a Zanussi, never bought one of those. Seems like a scam to me, they ring me every few months. But when I pressed the received calls button on my landline, it showed 08003289393, so I phoned that and it was a recorded message from BT saying "Hello, we tried to reach you," and stuff like that.

Told him I've never had a Bosch, then he asked what machine I do have. I told him, you tell me, you seem to have all my details. Then I got a bit sharp with him.
