Got a few calls from 02871760105 telling me my warranty expired. Told them I don't even have a warranty, then the bloke just hung up. Sounded Irish to me.

The washing machine trick, I asked if he could send me all the info in writing, he said sure but I’d need to commit to the deal straight away. I said no way, not without checking the details and fine print first. He quickly disappeared. Really believable and quite risky.

I checked out Repair and Assure since Mr Harrison claimed he was from there. I managed to speak with someone, asked why they called me, but he had no clue and just kept asking for my name, address, and phone number. They were dodging the questions the whole time. This company sounds like a total scam to me. They really oughta be reported to some serious authority because this kind of behaviour could easily trick older or vulnerable folks. It’s honestly disgusting.

They've rang me a couple of times today, even though I explained my insurance ended 15 years ago (seems like they've got some outdated list) and that I don’t even own a washing machine anymore (my daughter sorts that stuff out). Still, they keep pushing insurance on me, but when the machine breaks down, they'll probably find excuses not to cover it. Don’t trust these lot at all. Like most insurance firms, they’ll end up short-changing you.

Got a call this morning, I asked who it was and they said Candy told them my washing machine's warranty was nearly up. Thing is, my machine is under a service plan and although it’s made by Candy, it’s not actually a Candy brand. Total nonsense. They’ve rung me about this before.

A bloke called trying to flog me a warranty for our washing machine. I said my husband could sort any problems but he kept going on. I told him I was getting a bit fed up and hung up. Now he’s blocked me. Total scam, he didn’t even know the brand and it’s still under its original warranty anyway.

I received a call today stating that my washing machine's insurance was about to expire and that I should renew to keep my current coverage. They claimed there was a special promotion where I could secure two years at a hefty discount. I politely declined and hung up, as I sensed it was nothing but a scam. I've owned my washer for nearly nine years and have never opted for additional coverage. Genuine companies always send out written notifications well ahead of the expiry date to inform customers about any upcoming renewals.

Spoke really good English, was trying to sell me a warranty for my washing machine, but ive never had one and its at least 13 years old. I told him it’s pretty ancient, but he said it didn’t matter. I figured he just wanted my info, told him I’d just get a new one when this breaks, thanked him and hung up. Total scam!!

They called to tell me the warranty on my Indesit washing machine had run out and was up for renewal. Problem is, my washing machine isn’t even an Indesit, and it’s still covered by the guarantee anyway, so I definitely knew it was a dodgy call and told them straight away.

A few days back I got a call from them, decided to humour it for a bit. Turns out they wanted to sell me insurance for my washing machine at 70 quid a year. When they asked the brand, I said "Huntley and Palmer, you know, the biscuit people." Then when they asked how I’d pay, I said “Cash,” coz I don’t use cards. I just told them it sounded like a scam and slammed the phone down. Proper laugh!

Absolutely! I just received a rather dubious call regarding my washing machine warranty, claiming it was nearing its end and they could renew it for me at a rather tempting 35% off. They insisted I had no coverage, despite it being years old-a blatant mix-up because I'd actually taken out a five-year guarantee! When I probed about their identity, they mumbled something along the lines of “Repair,” stating my information was shared by the company that sold me the machine. I promptly ended the conversation-just another example of a typical scam, if you ask me.

I HAVE A CALL BLOCKER, BUT HE MANAGED TO GET THROUGH JUST BY SAYING HIS NAME. He called about some warranty issue with my Beko washing machine. He even got my address wrong. When I asked where he got my info from, he said it was from his database. I DON'T EVEN HAVE A BEKO WASHING MACHINE!

I've received numerous calls from this number recently. At times, when I pick up, the line goes silent, while on other occasions, a rather courteous gentleman informs me that the guarantee on my washing machine is nearing its expiration. The thing is, my machine is quite aged, and I've never taken out any sort of insurance with them. I've explicitly requested that they cease calling, and I've informed them that I'm on the TPS list, but that seems to fall on deaf ears. It's becoming rather irritating, if I'm honest.

They’re hailing from Derry, claiming to provide repairs and assurances. They had the audacity to inform me that my washing machine’s warranty had expired. I pointed out that warranties typically last for three years, and seeing as my machine is over six years old, it wasn’t even a Zanussi-never had one of those, to be honest. Clearly just trying to con a few quid out of me. They ring every few months, so I simply tell them I’m not interested and hang up.

They call me two or three times every day even though I've told them to take my number off their list. They always claim it's their first time ringing, but I know that’s rubbish. Got a call from a young bloke trying to sell me a washing machine warranty renewal. Claimed he’s from the Whirlpool group.
