Someone rang up saying they needed to discuss my computer with me. I said I don’t own one, then they just put the phone down. Definitely a scam, so I blocked the number using BT Call Protect.

Those lot are so annoyin’! They can’t handle even the smallest question. Maybe it’s cause I’m a bit shrewd and can see a scam from miles away. Seriously, it’s a total con, folks, so stay sharp. They probably deserve a good reprimand every single day. I just don’t get why BT doesn’t step in. Oh wait, that’s right - they’re probably cashin’ in on it too! Silly me for wonderin’.

Beware of calls asking for your bank card’s expiry date - it’s a scam trying to steal your info. Never share any card details over the phone!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft and my computer had spyware. I told them Microsoft wouldn't randomly call me about stuff like that, and they just ended the call. Reported it to the anti-fraud team straight away.

Every morning, without fail, we receive a call after 8am. We never answer, and they consistently leave no voicemail whatsoever.

The caller identified herself as Angela and claimed to be from the BT Telephone Preference Service. Unfortunately, I struggled to comprehend her words due to her heavy Asian accent. I ended up hanging up the phone.

Got another call from this number just now, second time in as many days. After a couple of clicks, some automated lady’s voice comes on and just says "goodbye". Honestly, I wish that was the last we ever heard from these annoying people.

On 27th July 2017, I picked up but stayed quiet (I’ve started doing this alot because of endless spam calls - mostly from robots). The person on the other end just hung up straight away, but thankfully I could look the number up on 1471.
