This number pretends to be from TalkTalk, but it’s definitely a scam. I’ve already reported them to TalkTalk. The caller said they were calling to warn about some problems, but i told them i’m not a TalkTalk customer. They kept insisting I had issues but couldn't explain what they were. Then they asked me to switch on my computer so they could "show" me the problems. After that, they wanted to know who my provider was, so i just ended the call.

continuing on, there’s no way they can get the ip code without a modem, so this has got to be a scam. like anyone with a bit of sense, i’m proper fed up with these tricksters and nonstop cold calls, just messing about and trying to nick stuff that doesn’t belong to them.

Got a call from a woman saying she was from TalkTalk. When I asked her to prove she was actually from them, the call just cut off. Bit weird!
