I got a call from a bloke with an Irish accent claiming he wanted to talk about life insurance. I told him I don't do sales calls while I'm working, but he insisted it wasn’t a sales pitch. Either way, I just ended the call and blocked the number. Since then, he’s rung back a couple more times.

I chose not to pick up the phone since I didn't recognise the number and it wasn't saved in my contacts. As there was no voicemail or any form of message left behind, I’ve decided to block the number entirely.

Got calls a few times from this number saying it was life insurance, they said they were from Ireland but never sounded Irish at all. My guess is it’s some call centre abroad messing about. Definitely feels like a scam.
