5 yearsSo, I picked up this call and first thing, some robotic voice started asking me about Australian immigration stuff, telling me to press 1 if I said yes to some questions. Once I hit 1, a woman came on the line with a really strange accent - sounded kinda Russian or African, but I swear she was using a voice changer or something. She started asking why I wanted to move to Australia and a few other personal questions. But then, something didn’t sit right. The call showed a +44 number, which is UK, yet she claimed to be calling from Australia. When I said I wanted to move there, she suddenly mentioned some legal fees and asked to check if my card could handle international payments. She wanted the first six digits of my card! I told her I’ve done international transactions before - Australia, USA, UK, Germany - so I knew my card was fine and wasn’t about to hand over any details. When she realised I wasn’t falling for it, she just hung up. Honestly, watch out for this number +442871140214 and others like it - looks like a total scam to me.
