i got a call from a man who sounded like he was from overseas. he claimed he was with the telephone preference service and actually knew my name and address. he kept saying we pay by direct debit and asked me to get my bank statement. i said i couldn’t do that at the moment and ended the call. i’ve now blocked that number so it cant ring me again.
