Absolutely annoying! You tell them to stop and the next day they're ringing again. There honestly ought to be stricter rules for these companies. You block one number, and then they just use another to keep pestering you.

My partner’s mum keeps getting calls from this number, they just hang up and then ring back straight away. I tried calling them but no one ever picks up, it just goes dead. Somebody needs to block them!

I didn’t mind indulging in some of the queries to begin with, but when the woman started delving into those rather probing personal matters, I felt compelled to end the conversation. It’s been a bit of a rough patch for me lately, and when she posed the question, “How content are you with the way things are unfolding in your life at this moment?” and followed it up with “On a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 signifies it’s all utterly futile, how much do you reckon your life holds value?” Well, that struck a nerve.
