Got a robotic call pretending to be from Visa, saying there was a £699 attempt to buy Amazon vouchers on my card. I just ended the call and rang my bank, they told me it wasn’t true at all. Pretty clear it was a scam! I’ve blocked that number now.

Got a robo call pretending to be Barclays card, saying there was a £699 Amazon gift card purchase on my account. They said it looked dodgy since I never buy gift cards. The recorded voice told me to press "1" to cancel it but I didn’t answer back cause it was obviously a scam.
