Got a missed call from this number earlier, no clue who it was. I looked it up but all I found were a few numbers alike, mostly called telemarketers. Not sure what they’re after though. Has anyone else come across this?

Just got a call from someone pretending to be from BT’s tech team, but it’s a total scam. The number showed up with a local 02844 code, which is actually from Downpatrick in Northern Ireland, but the call came from India. Don’t trust it, just ignore and hang up straight away.
