Received a call from what looked like O2 but I never answered. Soon after, I got a text saying I'd missed a call at 14:09 on 6th July, claiming it was a ‘free call alert’ from O2. It then instructed me to disable it by dialling 901, pressing *, then option 5 twice. I've seen similar messages from different numbers now. Honestly, there’s no reason for O2 to call me since I’m actually an employee with a proper plan sorted. So I reckon these numbers are just scams. Not quite sure what the text's aim is though, maybe to make it appear genuine.
