Got a call I didn’t ask for, so I just let it ring till it went to answerphone. As soon as it switched over, some automated voice went off saying something about HMRC suing me and that there’s an arrest warrant out in my name. They kept telling me to press 1 to talk to my case officer, even mentioned a case number kn01297. Then, they said to press 4 to speak to this so-called officer. Classic scam stuff, probably aimed at targeting older folks. Absolute rubbish, really.
