When I picked up the phone, there was a weird pause before anyone spoke, which made me think it was one of those spam calls that just dial loads of numbers hoping someone picks up. A woman with an Indian accent finally answered, and the racket in the background sounded like a dodgy call centre. She said she was from EE mobile, but that didn’t add up since I used to work there. All their call centres are based in the UK, and they wouldn’t have that kind of noisy background in their calls. Plus, the number she called from wasn’t even one affiliated with EE. Putting all that together, it really seemed like a dodgy scam call trying to trick people who might not know better.

I missed the call, so I rang back and got this automated message saying the place was named Digital Solution, something to do with website development.
