Totally a scam, no doubt about it.

I left it unanswered since the number was unfamiliar to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a doors and windows company. It was really odd since they kept repeating the exact same message over and over. Honestly, sounded like some dodgy AI or something.

They said they were from a window fitting business, but as soon as I mentioned I’m on the TPS and they’re not allowed to call, they just wouldn’t stop talking over me. So frustrating!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with a windows and doors firm. I mentioned I was looking at patio doors and that nobody else could do the job for me. After he rattled on with his spiel, he asked for my address. I said I live on the 12th floor of a high-rise. Guess he realised there was no chance, so at least he wasn’t bothering anyone else while wasting his time with me. Haha.

I never pick up when unknown numbers ring my landline, especially since they never bother to leave a voicemail. Lately, I’ve been getting calls from numbers that all start with the same few digits, and no matter how many I block, another one just pops up. I signed up with the TPS, but honestly, it feels pointless because these calls just keep coming through.

On the 1st of May 2024, around 5.05pm, someone phoned me claiming there was a recent medical emergency involving us. Then he tried to push a pendant on me for sale. I told him we had no idea what he was on about and made it clear we don’t entertain unsolicited sales calls before I ended the call. Cheers to who-called.co for helping me identify that number.

This bloke just kept talking right over me, going on about how I supposedly have some kind of medical condition and claiming I need a bracelet and care assistance or something. I told him straight up he’s got no business prying into my private health stuff. The worst part? He had absolutely no clue if anything was wrong but was just guessing and trying to push me to buy stuff like insurance and gadgets. I’m proper annoyed about being hassled like this.

Got a call on my home phone on the 1st of May 2024. The bloke said he was from my nearby health service and was pushing these emergency pendants on me. When I asked where he got my number from, he just dodged the question and the line went dead. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone named Sam claiming to be from a government windows and doors scrappage program. Sounds dodgy to me since the number is on the TPS list, so they really shouldn’t be phoning. They wanted to speak to the homeowner but didn’t take kindly to the answer I gave.

got a call from some recorded guy called Sam, said he was a medical advisor. He was mainly aiming at folks over 60, trying to convince them to accept some emergency gadget they could wear and press if they needed aid.

I recently came across a rather alarming scam that's preying on the elderly, particularly those over the age of 70 who might have certain health issues. A chap named Sam contacted me, claiming he'd received a list of individuals in my locality to reach out to. He had an unassuming and friendly tone, which made him seem quite trustworthy at first. However, when I pressed for the company's registration details, which he claimed was the SOS Button Company situated in Dorset, he abruptly hung up. It’s quite worrying how such deceitful individuals operate, isn't it?

Today, around 5.10pm, I got a call out of the blue from 028 4378 0112 about changing my double glazing. I told the guy to just post me the info instead. Since he never asked for my address, it felt a bit dodgy, like it might be some sort of scam. Just be careful if you get a call like this.

02843 780112 just rang me from someone called Sam, who said they were a "local health worker". They started asking if I’d had any falls or if I have diabetes, then tried to pitch some pendant alarm thing. Pretty obvious it was a recorded message, and whoever was handling the call kept messing up cause the clips were overlapping all over the place.

I got a call on my home phone from someone with an English accent. They said, "Hi, I’m Sam from your local health service." But when I asked what organisation they were from, the line suddenly went dead. Seems like it could be a scam, and it might be quite risky if someone’s caught off guard or is expecting a call about their health.

I received a rather dodgy phone call from someone claiming to be a healthcare professional, insisting that I was entitled to a complimentary emergency panic button. However, it soon became apparent that while the button was touted as free, there would be a charge for the associated service… At that juncture, I inquired how they had obtained my information. They informed me that their records indicated I was over 60 and suggested that I wouldn’t wish to find myself alone and at risk. To this, I retorted that if I did require such a gadget, I’d prefer to consult my GP rather than entertain a random cold call. Consequently, I hung up.

Got a call from a guy named Sam, said he was some kind of healthcare person nearby, but the number looked like it was from Ireland, which seems a bit dodgy. He was trying to sell me a medical pendant or something like that, felt totally like a scam. Wouldn’t let me get a word in or ask anything, so I just ended up hanging up.

A bloke named Sam rang claiming to be a healthcare professional nearby and asked how I was doing. When I questioned the reason for his call, he kinda talked over me, going on about some kind of fall detection device or health monitor. I tried to get him to explain the call's purpose, but he just avoided the question, and I could hear other chats happening in the background. Not sure if it was a pushy sales pitch or a scam, but I'm pretty sure he wasn’t really a local health worker.

Someone once told me not to say "yes" when picking up calls. So when this number rang, I answered with a simple hello. A lady’s voice came through asking "can you hear me clearly?" Naturally, I said yes, but then it went quiet. In the background, I could hear what sounded like an office full of people, so I just ended the call.

Somebody called saying they were my health advisor from nearby. They kept asking if I could hear them. I said yes, but then they asked again, "Can you hear me?" I reckon they want you to say "yes" so they can trick you into signing up for stuff. Watch out for this one!
