A bloke rang me saying he was from the local NHS and that I was on some list of over-70s who qualified for a free medical alert pendant. When I asked how he got my details, he just kept talking without answering. Then he said it would be just £1.70 a day. By then, I was well suspicious and told him to jog on and hung up. Watch out, I reckon it was a dodgy scam or worse.

I got a call from someone claiming to be a health worker, saying they wanted to give me a free emergency pendant since they “knew” about my supposed health problems. When I questioned them, they just stuck to their spiel, so I ended the call. Later, another call came through from a number almost the same, but this time it was about solar panels. Definitely feels like some kind of scam going on.
