Had this awful woman calling, claimed she was with Microsoft - yeah right. Said my PC had issues, so I asked her for my IP and MAC address, then just told her goodbye. That was the end of that chat.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent saying my computer had an issue. I just told them to buzz off and they actually stopped. But now the same number has called me three times without saying a word. Proper annoying!

I got a call from an Asian lady claiming there was something wrong with my Windows computer’s security. Sounded dodgy from the start - she kept pushing me to download some software and give remote access. Definitely felt like a scam call. Don’t trust anyone who says your PC is at risk out of the blue!

Got a call off some geezer claiming to be from the ‘Microsoft support team’ saying there was an issue with my PC. Messed about with him for a while but lost interest and just ended the call in the end.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was with Windows or something, though his accent was so thick I barely caught a word of what he was saying. Luckily, I checked sites like this and found out straight away it was a scam. Told him to buzz off in no uncertain terms, and to my surprise, he actually hung up. Doubt I’ll be getting a ring from him again anytime soon. Total muppets.

I keep getting calls from people claiming to be Windows support, and they always have that Indian accent, even when the number is from NI. It's pretty annoying!
