Got a call from someone called David Jones from some Legal Advice Centre about an accident. He knew just some basic stuff, so I asked him to give me more details. He mentioned my car registration and another vehicle’s, saying the claim was ongoing (which isn’t true). When I pushed for more info, he couldn’t get things right and started making false threats about a write-off and all that. Pretty much a useless scam call that only wastes my time and money - best to just ignore it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be John Hill from a Legal Advice Centre, saying it was about a car accident I had last year. He had some of the details right, which was a bit worrying. Asked him to give the company’s address and phone number, and I told him I’d check since I could see the number on my caller ID. He said he got my info from some National Accident Database, which I told him doesn’t even exist. Told him he was talking nonsense and then hung up.
