Then he wanted to know which age bracket I belonged to - he sounded oddly happy when I said I was in the oldest category. Next, he claimed it was the final question but asked who my broadband provider was. That’s when I just hung up. He rang back straight away, asking why I’d cut him off when he said it was the last question. I told him I’m on the TPS list, not interested, and to stop calling me again.1 yearGot a phone call from someone claiming they were an engineer who found an issue and insisted we needed a new router. When I asked for more details, he said if we didn’t get one, our wifi would stop working. But when I pressed him on that, he suddenly said he never said it. I requested he send all the info to the email address they supposedly had for me, but he just snapped back with "I’m not doing that" and hung up.
