had a call from an asian bloke pretending to be from local council housing about some compensation for repairs they said never got done. i told him i actually work in the council housing dept, tried to turn the tables on him. he just ended the call after that. watch out for this scam!

I got about 5 missed calls from these annoying people all on the same day! When they rang for the 6th time, I finally picked up. Right away, I could hear loads of noise like a busy call centre. Then there was this awkward pause, the person tried to shout out to someone named Charlotte, and just like that, they hung up on me.

Got a call from someone speaking with an Indian accent, claiming they were from housing repairs. I just ended the call straight away.

This number kept ringing all day long. Every time I picked up, there was just silence, then they’d hang up. So, I decided to ring them back myself, but it just kept ringing out. After looking it up online, it seems like it’s linked to some timber business. Probably they’ve got a bunch of numbers from around the UK and are cold calling people to try and get clients, which I think is completely dodgy. Didn’t feel right or trustworthy at all, so I ended up blocking it.
