This number kept calling me like 7 times, saying something about the court having my details and wanting me to verify my age. I got a bit irritated after loads of calls and told them to calm down. Then they went on like, "Well, if you just answer me, I’ll stop bothering you." Proper annoying!

That number wasn’t one I recognised, so I just blocked it straight away. I’m using BT’s digital voice phone with call protect, and it’s honestly a great service. They even keep a list of known dodgy numbers, which they automatically block too. Definitely worth looking into. Pretty sure the traditional phone networks will be phased out soon, replaced by this digital system. Of course, they’ll make sure to have options for anyone who can’t manage the new setup though. The old landline system is basically done for.

i got a call from this indian guy claiming his name was scott, chatting about the pandemic and some kind of alarm you wear around your neck for emergencies. when i told him i didn’t have one, he just hung up on me. pretty sure this number is connected to scams.
