Got a call from an American woman’s prerecorded message claiming to be from BT. It definitely wasn’t BT though, total scam alert. If they ask you to do anything, just ignore it and put the phone down.

Got a dodgy call claiming to be from BT, definitely a scam.

I just got a voicemail from someone claiming to be BT’s technical support saying my BT line was about to be disconnected. Sounds like a classic scam to me. Also, the number was from Portadown, which doesn’t seem right for BT. Definitely not legit!
