Whats up with this? They’ve phoned me 4 times in just 2 days. Also getting calls from a very similar number with only one digit changed (XXX7028). Loads of other sketchy numbers too, like 024XXX and 01479 - I’ve been flooded with them in the last day (15/6/22), same thing happened like 10 days ago. Starting to block every unknown number not saved in my favourites. Seems like the only fix.

Kept ringing when I was driving so I had to stop in a layby, and the moment I heard an Asian lady's voice I ended the call. They've called back about three times now and I just keep quiet until they give up. Sounds like one of those scams that only activates when you speak. A chap with an Indian accent rang me earlier today, claiming to be from Currys/PC World, attempting to pitch a broadband package. I politely declined his offer, and he proceeded to ask for my reasons. I simply stated that I was content with my current provider and inquired how he managed to acquire my number, especially since it’s supposed to be kept private. I requested he take me off his list and ended the call. Not long after, my phone buzzed again, and this time it was a woman on the line. I chose not to engage and hung up once more. I've since blocked the number for good measure!

However, what I can ascertain is their relentless nature; they have a real knack for calling me at the most inconvenient moments.
