Got a call from this number like 5 times within just a couple of days.

This woman, who said her name was Nancy and spoke with an accent from the Indian sub-continent area, phoned me saying she was from something called the "Telephone Management Service." She said they could stop annoying calls, so I kept listening, but the call dropped. She called again, and when I told her I wasn't interested because I didn't trust her, she got quite pushy, insisting she was genuine. After a bit of a disagreement, I just ended the call.

Someone from Thick called me non stop, ringing my phone like three times every hour during the first day. Nowadays, it’s slowed quite a bit, only called about four times this morning. I’m just letting it ring now and not picking up. This needs to be put to a stop.

Got loads of calls from 02297788982 today, must've been at least ten times. It sounded like some dodgy overseas scam, pretending to be BT. When I said I’d report it as a nuisance, the caller sounded proper miffed. Definitely didn’t sound like someone from Northern Ireland either.

So this number kept calling me like a dozen times while I was working, right? Since I’m on the TPS because of my job, I knew it was annoying. When I finally checked my phone, there were 12 silent voicemails - total scam to me. I told the sales bloke that TPS is free and all done online now, so why bother? Instead of apologising, he started being rude. I asked for his boss but he refused. Then I mentioned I had already reported this to the cops and even called the actual TPS to let them know someone is pretending to be them! After that, the guy just hung up straight away. Proper dodgy.

We've had this number ring us a solid four times in the last five hours, yet it never gets past the call blocker, which makes me think they’re not actually trying to chat. Like others have said, some of us can't just ignore a ringing phone due to having unwell family members or, like us, looking after an elderly neighbour as their emergency contact. Honestly, I'd suggest getting a call blocker because ours stops loads of these annoying calls, but it’s unfair that people have to fork out for something to keep these pest calls at bay - the callers themselves should be sorted!
