Got a call from a woman with a South Asian accent who said she was from EE, but she just ended the call straight away. I’m expecting a call about an EE broadband deal, but this number doesn’t seem right for them. Felt a bit fishy, so I’ve just blocked it.

There was a really thick Indian accent on the line. I had to ask thrice for him to repeat himself before I figured out he was trying to say Currys PC World. I’m pretty certain it was a scam, so I just ended the call then.

I got a phone call earlier today from this number claiming to be from Currys PC World. They told me I could get the new iPhone 14 Plus with unlimited calls, texts, and data for £30 a month, while staying on my current network and keeping my existing number. I immediately told them they were trying to rip me and others off, then they muttered something and hung up. I’ve blocked the number straight away.

Even though I've signed up with the TPS, this number keeps ringing me nonstop with unwanted calls. Proper annoying!

This number just rang me. It was a lady speaking with a really thick Indian accent claiming she worked for EE, trying to chat about some phone contract deals. Since my phone contract is indeed with EE, not sure if it was just chance or they somehow knew from my number. I told her I wasn’t interested, ended the call and then blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Curry's or PC World, but I honestly don't believe they were being honest. They kept pushing loads of mobile phone contract deals on me. I found them very pushy and felt like they weren't upfront, so I ended up blocking the number.
