Got a call from a new number claiming my internet was about to be cut off. I pressed option 1 and then someone from a call centre picked up, saying there was an issue with my account and my broadband was going to be cancelled. I ended the call straight away and rang TalkTalk myself to check. Total scam!

I've received three calls from this number within just half an hour. I picked up on the third attempt, only to be greeted by a recorded voice claiming to be BT and stating they were about to disconnect my broadband. I didn’t stick around to hear the whole spiel, hung up straight away, and promptly blocked the number.

I got a call from this number and picked up, but as soon as I did they just hung up. So I ended up blocking it. What’s annoying is that they can basically spoof any number they want when calling you.

Got a call from BT's auto system saying my broadband was about to be cancelled. I’ve never even signed up for BT broadband, so I was a bit puzzled. They asked me to press 1 or 2 to either "resolve the issue" or "go ahead with the cancellation". Anyone tried pressing those buttons and know what actually happens?
