I got a dodgy call too, from 02830739638, supposedly from my bank but it was definitely a scam. It was a robotic voice both times, really suspicious. Definitely some sort of fraud going on.

I just received a dodgy call from a number I didn't recognise. Definitely feels like a scam!

Received a dodgy phone call purportedly from EE. The person on the other end had an accent that was quite thick and their English was rather poor. When I confronted them about the suspicious nature of their call, suggesting it seemed like an attempt at fraud, they became quite persistent, trying to ring me again and again until I finally had to block the number. What a nuisance!

They've rung me a couple of times lately but I never picked up and there's no voicemail either.

I tried calling back but they just ended the call straight away, no response at all.

I didn't pick up and they didn't bother to leave a message. If it was something urgent, surely they'd have said something, right? Anyway, I've gone ahead and blocked the number now!
