Got a call from 02830254568 on 16th November 2017 around 5.21pm. Checked the number with 1471 afterwards but no voicemail or message was left. I’m ex-directory and also signed up to the Telephone Preference Service, so not sure why they called.

Got a call from someone named Brian, sounded Indian, saying he was with Imperial Telecom and that my bill would go down next month. I said I wasn’t a customer of theirs, and then he just cut me off. Honestly, quite disrespectful.

A chap with what sounded like an Indian accent, introducing himself as Brian from Imperial Telecom, rang me up today. He was blathering on about how they could cut my phone bill starting next month. I pointed out that I’m not a customer of Imperial Telecom, and just like that, he abruptly ended the call. Quite discourteous, if you ask me!

Some bloke called ‘Jack’ claiming to be from Imperial Telecom, saying they’d lower my phone bill. I told him I was already with BT, but he kept saying they worked with Openreach and BT. Oddly, he knew my name. When I wouldn’t share my age or birthday, he said it was compulsory. As if! I told him BT never asked for that info from me. He got a bit annoyed, so I said I’d ring BT and give them the number he called from. Of course, he just hung up. I’ve blocked the number now.
