I refused to pay anything in advance, and they said if I didn’t pay, the offer wouldn’t go through. I stuck to my guns, said no upfront payment, and the line just cut off. Right after, I phoned O2 myself and they confirmed it wasn’t from them. I’ve since changed all my passwords just to be safe.
