This bloke had a right rough tone, practically barkin' out to talk to the business owner. Normally, I just stay silent, sometimes hanging up sharp, other times just gently setting the phone down and waiting for them to disconnect. It’s my small way of giving them a bit of annoyance back, even if just for a moment.

Today, my elderly mum got a call from 02828580353. The person claimed they were following up on nuisance calls she’d been getting and needed some info to stop them. Then, they said her bank card was about to expire and asked for the expiry date. Thankfully, she realised it was a scam and hung up straight away. The caller was an Asian guy, clearly trying to fish for card details. It’s really concerning because others might fall for this trick. Be careful out there!!!
