I had a call from someone who wouldn't tell me their name or what they wanted, and they didn’t say where they were calling from either.

Just got a call from 02827664124, some bloke who sounded like he was from abroad. The line was terrible, and he wanted to talk to me. When I asked where he’d found my number, he said it was from their database. He threw out a name, but I didn’t buy it since he had quite an Indian accent. I pressed him about what company he worked for, and he suddenly got rude and ended the call. Honestly, I reckon he was trying to scam me, probably after my bank info. Bet he wasn’t happy I was onto his dodgy cold call tactics.

They called saying my TV protection plan is now only £7.99 per month - bit of a classic sales trick that one.
