I got a call from a number starting with 028 but I’ve actually blocked all calls from that code since I’ve never got anyone I know using those. If you use a call blocker, you might want to add 028 to the area codes you block. These calls often turn out to be scams, like energy advisors trying to trick you. They’ve also done this with appliance insurance and health advisor frauds using 028 numbers. From my experience, lots of calls from area codes like 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 0177, 018, 019, 020, 028, 074, 075, 077, 078, and 079 tend to be dodgy as well.

Called and got the answering machine, but there wasn’t any message, so I’m guessing it was probably a scam.
