I answered the phone but there was complete silence, then they just ended the call.

They’ve rung me a few times but never left any message, so I just blocked the number.

Got a call from some housing disrepair people, said it was about damp issues and stuff in my rented place. Told them I was actually an asylum seeker staying in a hotel, and yeah, the damp thing might be true. Gave them the Ritz hotel address in London and mentioned the council promised me a flat with a pool soon, so damp problems there make sense. Honestly, I hope they bought it and maybe thought better of their scam, maybe even decided to come over by boat instead.
