I got three calls from supposed 3 Mobile numbers, and this was one of them. I already posted about one on here. There’s a third call, but I’m not totally sure which it was on my call log, so I marked it as unknown. They tried pushing a SIM-only deal from Three. I asked for some info by email (probably a dumb move!), and all I got back was a dodgy copy-paste message full of strange wording. I said I’d report them as scammers, but they never responded. Stay clear!

Honestly, I wouldn’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If it’s important, they’ll ring again. You can always check who’s calling by searching the number online, and most of the time it turns out to be some kind of scam. Just block it and don’t stress about it. That’s what works best for me.

I got a call from someone saying they were from O2, promising me a discount on my bill if I used a special code. Thing is, I’m in Northern Ireland, and the lady kept apologising like she wasn’t getting what I was saying. Plus, she definitely didn’t sound like she was from anywhere near Ballymena or even the North at all. When did O2 start handing out discount codes over the phone anyway? Seemed pretty dodgy to me. In the end, I told her she was cutting out and just hung up, then blocked the number straight away.

Just had an infuriating cold call! The chap on the other end insisted there was an issue with my computer, claiming Microsoft had picked up some 'signals' from it. A good laugh, really, considering I only use my mobile device! In no uncertain terms, I told him he was a right conman. It was obvious what he was after-trying to get hold of my details by making me believe I needed to check my nonexistent computer! Honestly, don't fall for this nonsense, folks. Never engage in phone business when it comes to tech issues. Always consult a reputable source instead!

The person on the phone seemed to have an Asian accent, making it a bit hard to catch everything he said. But I definitely picked up on the word “computer.” I quickly replied with a firm “no way!” and he hung up.
