Beware of these con artists! They attempted to trick me into granting them remote access to my computer by fabricating a story about issues with my internet connection, claiming it might have been compromised. The funny thing is, I don’t even have my internet service through Sky, so their ruse was clearly a load of nonsense!

Got a call from 028 2130 1143 claiming they were from Currys and offering me an iPhone 14. As soon as I told them no, they just cut me off. Definitely a scam, don’t get caught out by this!

The person said they were from Sky, but I wasn’t too sure, so I just ended the call to avoid any sort of scam.

Odd thing, my phone showed the call coming from Ballymena, Ireland but when I looked it up on Google, it was marked as some place in the UK? Didn’t pick up and just blocked the number straight away.

I didn’t answer cause I didn’t know the number and thought it might be some sort of scam. So, I just ended the call.
