Got a call from someone with an accent saying my white goods warranty had expired. I just told him I don’t need one since I fix appliances for a living 😂 then I ended the call and blocked him.

sounds like one of those auto dialer scams looking for active numbers to peddle to companies. the number we checked on 1471 could even be a hijacked one, with tech used to make the call bill go to an innocent person. telecoms everywhere say they’re still stumped on how to fix this mess. plus, the fact the call cuts out right as our call service picks up pretty much proves it’s just a nuisance call, probably leading to a flood of spam calls if you actually pick up.
