Some woman rang up claiming to be from Microsoft about dodgy messages poppin’ up on my PC. Felt like I’d already heard this story way too many times. When I told her straight up it’s a scam, she started using my first name - which scammers always get wrong, so it’s a dead giveaway. She got pretty nasty, saying if I thought it was a scam, I must be a hacker or summat. Before she hung up, she threatened to block my computer, then called me a rude name. Funny thing is, my PC is still working perfectly fine!
