Somebody rang my grandad pretending to be from BT, even though he’s actually with TalkTalk. The caller came across as polite but was quite pushy, insisting on getting into his computer. When my grandad told him he’s 91 and has dementia, mentioning that his grandson usually sorts out his internet stuff, the scammer kept on with his so-called ‘tech support’. It really stressed him out and seemed to make his dementia worse. Total con job.

Just got a call from this number around 4 in the afternoon, the person said they were from BT Openreach. Honestly, I cut them off before they could say much and told them to do one. No way I'm falling for some BT Openreach nonsense.
