I received a call from someone asserting they were with the BBC. In addition, I've had several other calls from various numbers trying to recruit me for a survey.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, stating that I was entitled to a refund due to an overpayment. The thing is, I've never had an account with BT! When I informed him of this, he just kept pushing that I was owed money. It’s clearly a scam, so I’d advise everyone to be cautious of this number!

I usually let these calls ring out without picking up. However, on a whim, I decided to entertain this fool for a bit. He insisted that I was entitled to some sort of PPI compensation-how utterly predictable! Yet, when pressed, he couldn’t specify an amount. I told him I’ve never taken out PPI, but that didn’t faze him one bit. In my usual charitable spirit, I suggested he might want to consider seeking legitimate employment instead. It’s blindingly obvious that this is just a ruse to snatch personal details for nefarious purposes. Keep your wits about you when dealing with these numpties!
