Got a recorded call from a woman speaking with a really thick American accent, claiming she was from British Telecom. She used a weird phrase like "We are hereby to inform you..." or something along those lines. The message said my internet was going to get cut off unless I pressed "1" or pressed "2" for some other option, but I can’t quite remember what. This has popped up several times over a few months and I never bothered responding. This time I decided to ring "1471" just to see who was calling. Unsurprisingly, my internet is still working fine - and I’m not even with BT anymore for my internet.
