I received a call earlier today from a person claiming to be from Amazon. They were trying to tempt me with a range of products, all with the enticing perk of free delivery. However, upon investigating the number they rang from, I discovered it didn’t belong to Amazon at all! Just typical of the scammers out there.

Had this weird robocall with some bloke speaking in an American accent, going on about issues with my computer and saying I'd get charged hundreds if I didn't call their "toll free" number back. I just let the call run for a bit until they gave up and hung up. Pretty clear it's a scam trying to trick you into ringing a costly number.
