Got a call from a woman speaking English on 02051004150 claiming she had info about me being in a car crash that wasn’t my fault. Honestly, must’ve hit my head or summat coz I don’t remember any accident. I thought these kind of calls were meant to be banned by the government? Also, that number doesn’t even show up anywhere I’ve checked.

I got a call from 02651563320, the person had an Indian accent and claimed to be from BT internet, offering to fix my internet issues. I rang BT directly to double-check and they told me they never contacted me. Watch out, this sounds like a scam.

Got like ten calls all from different numbers, all just heavy breathing. Finally stopped when i put my phone on silent. I even changed my voicemail to say “Can you stop with the heavy breathing? Not very real.” All this happened at 2.30 in the morning, so annoying!

My elderly mother-in-law, who’s still getting over a fall, got a call from this bloke yesterday. She told him straight he was a con artist and hung up. Then he called back twice, shouting abuse at her down the line, calling her all sorts of names and threatening to send the police to arrest her. He seriously needs a proper telling off, which I’d be more than happy to deliver myself. How on earth can this sort of person be stopped???

A guy with an Asian accent called me saying he was from Microsoft. He told me my computer or laptop was picking up a virus. I asked him to give me a reference for the PC or laptop, but he couldn’t, so I ended the call. He rang back a couple of times after that. After he started getting rude, I told him I’d track the number and contact the police.

Somebody said they were from Microsoft but when I told them I'm not on a Windows keyboard, they tried to get me to download anydesk[###]. They asked me for my email address to 'verify' me but I didn’t have it ready, then gave me this number 020 323 93351 which turns out to be a dodgy scam call.

Got a call on my home phone around 11.30am from a bloke who sounded Asian, claiming to be from Microsoft. I reckon it was the same chap who rang earlier this morning saying he was with Talk Talk. I played my usual game, asking where he was based and who he actually worked for. I could tell he was getting annoyed as he really wanted to tell me about some weird warnings on my PC. I finally ended the call when I asked him about his office location. Let's just say he clearly wasn’t working there (and probably isn’t even in the UK) since he butchered the name of the place completely!!

I had an unpleasant encounter with a gentleman purporting to represent Microsoft. He accused me of being sarcastic when I questioned the legitimacy of his call. I expressed my concerns about him possibly infringing on my privacy and inquired about how he obtained my details. He continued to insist that I was just being sarcastic. In the end, I firmly instructed him to keep his nose out of my affairs.

Some guy with an Asian accent called saying he was from Microsoft, claiming my PC had a virus. He said my computer had been downloading stuff. Haha, how on earth could he possibly know what my computer's been up to?! I told him I don’t even own a computer (which isn’t true) and he just hung up. Brilliant!

Just like others have said, I got a call from an Asian guy claiming to be Michael. When I asked him to prove he wasn’t Michael, he got quite irritable, and then another voice began shouting too. I told them they were being a right nuisance and hung up, then blocked the number. But annoyingly, the same number rang again about ten minutes later. Obviously, I ignored it and let it go to voicemail. Honestly, that call could easily scare someone who’s a bit anxious.

Just like the rest today. Claimed he was from Microsoft, told him to do one. Then he rang again, yelling and insisting we say sorry, saying we’d have to pay. Said he was winning and our phone line was being billed already. After more calls, we finally had to unplug the phone.

I told him I don’t even have a Microsoft PC, plus this number is on the TPS (telephone preference service), so he might be breaking the rules by calling. Then he started yelling rubbish at me, proper rude. I ended the call, but he had the cheek to ring back a few times shouting again. Honestly, it was just a scam call through and through.

Got a call from an Asian man about my computer. When I nicely told him to buzz off and ended the call, he actually called back and started shouting at me for being rude. Told him off again and hung up. Then the phone rang once more from an international number, which I ignored. He kept ringing from either 0281342007 or the foreign number, ringing about 10 times before finally stopping. Honestly wish there was a way to get these lot stopped for the scams they try to pull.
