Received a call at around 3 o'clock this afternoon. The woman on the line was quite courteous and identified herself as representing www.Homeservsolutions.co.uk-though she might have misspelled it. She was pushing some enticing offer for television insurance. I decided to humour her, feigning that I banked with Lloyds, and mentioned I’d been unwell lately, so my daughter manages my finances. I provided a made-up card number, but she continued to press for an actual one. Even when I flagged my suspicions about her not being associated with Homeserve, she kept her composure and was exceedingly polite, encouraging me to verify on their website. She’s promised to ring me again at the same hour tomorrow, but I won’t be so accommodating next time!

Keeps calling but nobody picks up, had a ring at 11 o'clock at night.

Had a rather dodgy encounter with some scammers claiming to be from BT, asking me to confirm my bank card details. Quite alarming, to say the least!
