02892652773 This number belongs to a young woman named Donna from Lisburn, working at a company called BEB Media Ltd. She rang my dad trying to push some dodgy advertising deal on him. Even though he told her he wasn’t interested, she kept ringing and insisted he owed money! She was quite pushy and even fibbed, claiming it was linked to the Road Safe NI charity magazine and that he had already signed up. Just a heads up to others - be cautious! I’d suggest blocking the number altogether. Has anyone else been caught up in this Road Safe NI charity scam? Emma

Someone rang claiming to be from Currys PC World with some dodgy deal on phones and SIMs. The caller had a strange mix of Indian and Jamaican accents but was attempting an Irish one - it was really odd. When I said I wasn’t interested, they just hung up straight away. Looks like a total scam, just like most of the random calls I get on my mobile.

I’ve had calls from a 028 number about 4 times, all around the same time in the evening. I never picked up cause it felt dodgy. In December I did answer, and there was loads of noise in the background, then they claimed they were from O2 but I didn’t believe it for a second. It definitely wasn’t O2, felt really sketchy, so I just ended the call straight away.
