11 yearsI constantly receive bothersome phone calls from this number and others alike. They always insist on speaking with the owner of my computer. What can I do to stop them?11 yearsI am being harassed by certain individuals who keep questioning me about whether or not I am the primary owner of the computer or laptop in my house. After hanging up, they had the audacity to call again and hang up as soon as I answered. This unfortunate incident occurred today, on the 7th of October, 2015.11 yearsI recently received a phone call from an unknown number. Hastening downstairs, like I've done numerous times before, I discovered that it was one of those computer services representatives. Calling herself 'angel', she inquired if I was the owner of a personal computer. When I responded negatively, she proceeded to inquire about the details of the owner. Firmly, I stated that it was none of her concern and promptly ended the call. Such calls are incredibly invasive and stressful since you can't help but dwell on them afterwards. They truly get to you. As a solution, I've decided to switch to a phone with call screening.11 yearsI recently received two consecutive calls claiming to be from Talk Talk, the company I had just spoken to a few hours earlier. However, during the conversation, they switched their story and claimed to be from Microsoft. Although I found this highly suspicious, I was lured into opening my computer and allowing them to guide me through various supposed "warnings" and "errors" that were supposedly causing my computer to run slowly. The call ended abruptly when they started discussing payment for a product. Now I am concerned that I may have put myself at risk by granting them control of my computer. What course of action should I take now?Talk TalkMicrosoft11 yearsI received a call from this number, where the person claimed to be from BTopenreach. They said that the server was being affected by slow file downloads and requested remote access to my computer. However, they didn't provide any identification or ask for any security questions, so I decided to end the call.BTopenreach11 yearsI recently spoke to them over the phone and made it very clear, as I have done multiple times before. They constantly request access to my computer and pretend to be calling from Windows. I explained to them that their biggest error is assuming that Windows has my landline telephone number!11 yearsIn order to bother someone on the phone, one could use a noisy airhorn by placing it against the phone receiver. Just a brief blast of around five seconds will suffice to potentially cause harm to their hearing capability.11 yearsI received a call from these individuals and decided to entertain them for a short period before kindly asking them to refrain from wasting any more of my time. Surprisingly, the gentleman called me back and I firmly reiterated my request using some strong language before promptly ending the call. To my astonishment, he called again and began talking disrespectfully about desiring an inappropriate relationship with my mother. I quickly ended the call once more, however, if I were ever to encounter this individual in person, he would surely face dire consequences.11 yearsDespite being a qualified IT Specialist who regularly works with Microsoft products, these individuals refuse to cooperate. Instead of heeding my advice, they ruthlessly hang up their call only to harass me again at a later time.Microsoft11 yearsI plugged in the cord and suddenly the tune began, but the melody was far from impressive. It sounded like a fusion of a bass guitar and mundane elevator tunes.11 yearsBeware of receiving calls from a certain number pretending to be Microsoft or Windows. These callers are persistent, even when I debunk their claim and state that I know they aren't associated with the company. Shockingly, they have even asked to speak with my husband, who passed away nine years ago. It is important to alert others about this situation in order to prevent anyone from being deceived.MicrosoftWindows11 yearsAfter picking up the phone, all I heard was a voice saying "goodbye" before hanging up. It was a rather abrupt interaction, to say the least!11 yearsOn a typical Saturday afternoon, the phone started ringing, but I couldn't reach it in time. Fortunately, it's a number that calls us at least three times a week, so we never bother answering anymore. After reading about what happened to other people, I've decided to continue ignoring it.11 yearsI received a call at 1:49 pm from a man who claimed to be from "Windows" and said there was an issue that needed to be resolved. However, I quickly ended the call without further engagement.11 yearsI received a phone call at 8:30 inquiring about my computer. However, since I don't own a computer, I informed them of the same and as a result, they promptly ended the call. This incident has left me with suspicions regarding the security of the BT website, as I had visited it just yesterday. I wonder if someone is attempting to hack into it.BT11 yearsToday, on the 21st of August 2015, I received a call. However, as soon as I answered, the caller abruptly ended the call.11 yearsBeware of individuals claiming to be from BT Openreach, as they are requesting access to your computer in order to prevent hacking attempts.BT Openreach11 yearsPlease beware of a scam attempting to obtain information about my computer. I recommend ending the call immediately.11 yearsYes, I just spoke to them on the phone as well. BT doesn't call you unless you've reached out to them first. I came close to being tricked, but luckily I didn't fall for it. The lady was convincing, but only to a certain extent.BTSubmit Your Own Report (27573803171)
