Consider using BT Guardian to effectively block unwanted calls. Since I got it installed, I haven't received any calls from "International" or withheld numbers, unless I specifically choose to accept them after answering certain questions. They provide options to either accept these calls just once, accept them every time, or block them altogether. Even if you accidentally accept a call, you can still block that number later.

I've played along with them on various occasions, but I recently stumbled upon an interesting discovery. When I answer the phone in a professional tone, saying, "Good morning/afternoon, Microsoft Helpline, how can I assist you?", they abruptly end the call. Curiously enough, I find myself wondering why that is!

I decided to play along for a while, but then I confronted him and called him a dishonest person. I also made it clear that I don't own a Windows computer.
