For weeks now, I've been getting daily calls from a number that shows up as "caller details not available." I kept trying to block it, but nothing worked. The messages are automated and about some government solar panel initiative. On one occasion, I pressed 2 hoping to get a call back, and someone did ring me, but as soon as I told them I’d only shown a bit of interest because of the constant calls and wanted to be removed, they just hung up. What’s worse is now calls are coming from this number *and* the anonymous number as well! I’m registered with the TPS and my number is unlisted.

I’ve got one of those BT call blocker phones that comes with an answer machine, and it's been brilliant. It’s cut out all those annoying calls from numbers that look alike. Now, when a call does come through, it only shows the number that’s been rung, and I’ve ended up blocking loads of them this way. It’s really done the trick for me.
