this number called me pretending they were from bt, saying i needed to turn on my laptop so they could help fix some issues. i ended up reporting them to bt and then blocked it straight away. if i wasnt busy, i’d track these scammers down and teach them a lesson.

Honestly got no clue, but that number seemed really dodgy so I just chucked it on my block list 1572.

Had a call that just hung up straight away before they even said anything - felt like a scam attempt.

Got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk's tech support about some issues with my internet, which has been down for a few days. Problem is, they didn’t seem to know I’ve actually switched providers ages ago. Bit of a waste of time really!

Got a call from someone claiming to be 'John' with TalkTalk, saying our internet was running slow every time we connected. Pretty sure it wasn’t really from TalkTalk though.

Got a dodgy call from some Indian call centre that redirected through a UK number. They pretended to be from Capital and said there was "suspicious activity on your internet!" How on earth could they know that? They’re clearly trying to hack into your PC and pinch your info. I reported it as a cybercrime - proper lowlifes.

Caller said it was TalkTalk blaming the slow router, but it seemed dodgy so I just hung up.

Yep, it's definitely one of those talk talk scam calls. I hung up before the person even got a word out!
